About our concrete contractor team in Solon

What we sell is what we build
I started on the sales side of concrete, pricing jobs for another company and meeting homeowners at their kitchen tables. I got tired of promising work I couldn't do with my own hands, so I went into the field and learned forming and finishing on a crew. In 2013 I started Bedrock Solon Concrete here in Solon. Today people call us for driveways, patios, steps, floors and foundation work across Solon and the cities around it.
A lot of them call because they want a straight answer. I care that what I sold you is what you get. Too many bids leave out the base or the tear-out and add it back later, and I'd rather lose the job than work that way. If you've got a cracked or sinking slab, or you're planning a new one, send us the details or call (440) 560-8533, and I'll come out and take a look.

Driveways, patios and slabs
What you can count on
Priced by someone who's poured
I price every job myself after years of forming and finishing on a crew, so what I put on paper is what we build. Our crew does the work, with me or our foreman running it.
Bids you can compare
Your written estimate lists the base the slab sits on, the steel reinforcement, the mix and any tear-out of the old concrete. Hold it up against other bids line by line, and you'll see what each one left out.
Permits handled before we dig
Solon has every contractor register with the city before doing any work, and many jobs need a permit. When yours does, we file it, schedule the inspections and check the rules with that building department first.
Straight talk on weather and winter
If waiting for better weather makes more sense than pushing a pour, we'll tell you. Before we leave, you get plain advice on caring for your new concrete through its first winter.
